Singer-songwriter and guitarist Kyla Simone has mastered the art of honest music.  Kyla believes that music is medicine, and holds a unique ability to transform poor thinking and empower action.  The world got their first glimpse of the mind of Kyla Simone on her debut EP "FlySoar" which released in late 2014.  This original body of work expressed honest thoughts, questions, and experiences in her life and conveyed God's wisdom as she sorted through life's challenges.  Over the years Kyla Simone has had the honor of sharing her music live at popular hubs such as Busboys & Poets, the Howard Theater, the Annapolis Street Festival, Hotel RL Baltimore,  Taproom Coffee in Atlanta, and more.  Currently she is busy writing and recording new music, building a roster of beautifully written inspirational acoustic soul songs that are inspired by her journey towards loving herself and conquering fear, something we all must do in order to truly live out our purpose to its fullness. 

 

One of Kyla's greatest passions, and part of her own purpose, has been founding Girls & Guitars, which is the official live music showcase and movement created to connect multi-cultural women singer-songwriter guitarists who are invested in empowering the world through inspirational music.  In addition to spearheading this movement, she also founded LifeArts Girls Dayshop which further uses the creative arts and life skills as an avenue to empower young girls to love themselves, grow in faith, and discover their purpose.  Kyla Simone's life work is to remind others of their worth and ensure they know they are loved by a big God who created them to do something special, a gift no man can ever take away.​
